Lonely Planet one of the go to travel guides, known for guiding you through some of the most well known and obscure reaches of the world have come up with a new guide for your tasting pleasure. A global beer tour of the world best breweries.
Follow Lonely Planet and explore the vibrant world of craft beer with their ale experts. These experts have selected great taprooms and bars int eh finest breweries in 30 countries across five continents from the South Africa to Belgium where brewing is like to baking to the Danish.
The guide is broken down in to continents and countries, with a glossary of terms. Filled with bounds of knowledge not just on the local beers but also insight into things to in the local area of each brewery.
To accompany the book Lonely Planet have also created their own limited edition IPA beer they teamed up with two of the trendiest breweries around, Northern Monk Brew Co in the UK and Fieldwork Brewing Co in the US, to produce a limited-edition IPA called Travel Notes, which we were given the opportunity to guzzle copious amounts at their press launch. A fruity beer perfect for these great summer temperatures that we are currently experiencing.
