I Woke Up In A New Bugatti

In January of 2013 a young man made what sounded like a ridiculously ostentatious claim of waking up in a million pound car, some laughed, some danced. But apparently someone took this on a design idea for a set of luxury villas in the ridiculously ostentatious city of Dubai.

DAMAC Properties was established in 2002, as a private residential, leisure and commercial developer in Dubai and the Middle East. Since then, the Company has expanded rapidly into North Africa, Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and most recently there have been talks of expanding into the City Of London.

The Ettore 971 luxury villas located within the Akoya Oxygen development get their name from Ettore Bugatti the founder of the renowned French Luxury super sports car brand Bugatti, the car referenced as a desirable place to wake up by rapper Ace Hood in his song “Bugatti”. The numbering comes from the international dialling code for Dubai.

Managing Director, Ziad El Chaar said of the project “We only bring the most exclusive, desirable, limited edition collections to Dubai’s luxury real estate and with Bugatti we have one of the most aspirational uber luxury brands in the world”.

Massimiliano Ferrari said “Much more than a brand extension, we have embraced the curvaceous lines and styling so intrinsically linked to the Bugatti Veyron super sports car. We are taking this vision, with more than a hundred years of history, in a very modern way.”

The Villas are designed around the Bugatti Veyron in the most literal sense. In the centre of each villa is a glass box made to house the owners own Bugatti Veyron which can be seen from anywhere within the villa. So if you can’t make it upstairs to one of the 7 bedrooms you can always go to sleep in your car.

Prices will be in the region of AED 36 million (around about 6.4 Million pounds sterling), so if you include the price of the car (not included with villa) you’re looking at around £8,000,000. Everyone else awake now?

Oh and let us not forget that you also get a golf course with you villa. The Ettore 917 Villas over look the Tiger woods designed Golf course which only adds to the luxury tag and overall allure of these villas.
